The Runs List

Some days are too good to miss a good ride out. The club officers hold a (voluntary) list of members telephone numbers so if a late notice run evolves as many riders can be informed as possible. Just opt in when you join the club.

When you ride with us

The club's rules state that we will operate within the "law of the land". We all want to have great time together on rides out and at rallies so we ask riders joining a club run or event to behave in a responsible way. Riding in a group means we owe a duty of care to other riders as well as ourselves - save any burnouts and stoppies for the track day, and bring your best roadcraft - we'll all have a ball and get home without tickets or a visit to casualty.

Do not drink more than the legal limit and ride. Please make sure your machine is in good working order and fully fuelled before you set out. Ensure you and your pillion have adequate motorcycling clothing and a properly fitting crash helmet. Its a good idea to carry waterproofs even on a fine day - you never know! If you're short of riding gear ask at the club - there are often good second hand jackets etc available.

It goes without saying that you must be fully insured to ride on a club run. You take part in a club run as an individual at your own risk and should satisfy yourself that you are adequately insured against accidents, fire and theft. 69MCC only arranges the meeting point for runs. We do not insure members or guests against any problems they may encounter as a result of taking part or take any formal responsibility for routes travelled, venues visited or persons attending.
